Wheeler Appraisals is a full service real estate appraisal company that since 1971 has provided residential and commercial appraisals throughout central Florida.  Principals are Curt Wheeler, MAI and Bill Wheeler, Jr. Both are second-generation appraisers, each with over 30 years of experience in the Polk County and central Florida markets. The firm was established as Wheeler and Klusza in 1971, and was succeeded by Wheeler Appraisals (and Klusza and Associates) in 1986. Our office is located at 120 East Pine Street in downtown Lakeland.

We are a small firm with direct involvement by the principals in all appraisal assignments. Private data sources to which we subscribe include FARES, REDI, RealQuest, Loopnet, Central Florida Commercial Real Estate, and various MLS services that cover most of central Florida, including southwest Florida, Tampa Bay area, and Orlando area. We also subscribe to a variety of private data sources covering construction costs, capital market  investor indicators and expectations, and income and expense reports for various property types.   Argus software is used for discounted cash flow analysis. Wintotal is used for residential appraisals.

Both principals are also licensed real estate brokers and can assist you in that area if needed (in fact, we would love to assist you in that area, given the differential betwween sales commissions and appraisal fees!)
